Finished reading: An Introduction to Christian Ethics by Robin W. Lovin 📚

First required reading for my Christian ethics class. Great introduction and left me reflecting on which stance I naturally gravitate towards. I can see elements of each emphasised at different times in my life. I think now “integrity” seems to be my main mindset.

You can get Gorman’s book “The Self, The Lord and The Other According to Paul and Epictetus” for free using the code GORMAN25

Thanks Nijay Gupta.

Is it unfair to sum up Christian virtue ethics as “What would Jesus do?”

Mutemath Typical still holds up.

Hum…my AirPods don’t seem to have as much life as they used too :S

Sometimes I think of my big iPhone as the iPad nano to remind myself to read books and write articles more with it rather than surf social networks.

The myth of Sisyphus but it’s a parent trying to tidy up after their kid.

I think everyone I know has stopped using untapped but I’m back logging my beers there (for some reason). I’d love a microblog version (micro brew is the obvious name and would be perfect)

I got a three month trial of Apple Music so I decided to try it again. The Mac app is terrible! It’s unresponsive and playlists frequently stop. Using YouTube music on the web is far better. (iPhone app seems better in my limited use).

Due to this week’s Holy Post I’m currently listening to The Civil Wars for the first time in years. I had not appreciated how often they went outside the typical chords patterns for their bridges (example: the bridge in Same old same old. The outro in Eavesdrop).
