Time to fly to England for the week! Mostly family but also seeing a group of friends for more than 20 years for our “Passover” meal (we pass over a statue a friend gave us 15 years ago).

The joys of working from home: My neighbours love Singstar (or a similar game) and they play it almost every afternoon. It’s at moments like this that I am eternally grateful for active noise cancelling.

If you are upset with someone, resist the urger to write in all caps on slack. Not inspired by events I’m currently witnessing.

A short practical and theoretical book on prayer. It seems this might be where the ACTS acronym comes from! Highly recommend.

I don’t know a single field that has so many people offering contradictory advice (on the details, not the high level stuff) with so little justification why other than “because it works”.

My Samsung smart monitor now has ads…in the navigation menu! I went to switch source this morning and my muscle memory almost made me open an ad.

Updated my site to use @Mtt ‘s latest “Bayou” theme. Really love the idea and the mindset of highlighting longform content.

I’ve been a long time readwise user, I like readwise, I like the reader app too but I’m starting to wonder if there might be a better (more native) app for me1. Do you use a different read it later type app?
