The discipleship explored course has proven interesting. The second week felt very stilted. I noticed that some of the questions were so easy, people felt stupid for answering them. Plus they were so black and white that it didn’t inspire conversation. Week three was better. The questions were still a bit rigid but the topic caught the groups interest. It felt like the good kind of diversions like talking about unity and why we do actually struggle to see it. We also skipped a question then returned to a previous one as that felt the most relevant to where the conversation went. Perhaps it’s also a sign of better and more confident leading the sessions.

We have a week off next week so I’ve spent some time preparing in advance. I’m hoping that this positive trend continues.

Also we had the most chocolatey chocolate cake I’ve every had! It was awesome.
