I don’t know a single field that has so many people offering contradictory advice (on the details, not the high level stuff) with so little justification why other than “because it works”.

I’ve been a long time readwise user, I like readwise, I like the reader app too but I’m starting to wonder if there might be a better (more native) app for me1. Do you use a different read it later type app?

There’s a place for calling people out, but calling in is far more effective. (Yes, of course I would think that as a CIS male, but we’ve all seen the backfire effect of “calling out”.)
