iPad users: Do you have some form of case (and if you do what do you like/not like about it).

I’m considering my options.

My old iPad “only” set up at home. It was honestly a great writing experience.

Today I published my first “Sketchy Lent” devotional. My theme for the year is The Wilderness and I start with Genesis 1.

I found a clip of JD Vance with Keir Stammer in the Oval office. In the meeting, JD brings up the UK and the issue of free speech and how it affects American companies. Keir responds and says the UK has long defended free speech among many points.

I find this very revealing that 1. JD Vance is being an undiplomatic arse in many meetings. 2. JD doesn’t jump back on that unlike Zelinsky pointing out that Putin broke his previous agreements.

Knowing a few web browsing keyboard shortcuts can be a real wrist-saver.

A few I love in Arc

  1. Copy URL (CMD + shift + C)
  2. Switch tabs (CMD+Option+🔼 / 🔽)
  3. Change web address (CMD+L)
  4. Reopen the last closed tab (CMD+T)
  5. Scroll to the top of the page (CMD + 🔼 )

I was today years old when I learned that there’s a refillable fineliner that you refill with fountain pen ink.

I’ve been trying to download my kindle content but I just get a message that I have no kindle device nor the free reading app…but I can see I have about 10 devices registered with the app. I wonder if this is just an error to prevent me from getting my content.

Fun side effect of my trip to the UK — I now have Apple Intelligence… I don’t think I’ve used it yet (message summaries seem…fine. So far).

Now hoping 2026 is the year without any major family health dramas.
