Saw superman and really enjoyed it. I thought pa Kent was perfect. I also think the “superman’s gone woke” folk are really just telling on themselves.

Sometimes I just had a downer day (today is one) and it always helps when I acknowledge it and remember it will pass probably by tomorrow morning. This is me reminding myself. Honestly, I’m so grateful that I know this bouts do pass so quickly, I know other people really struggle with ongoing depression and that sucks.

I preached on 1 Kings 20-22 this weekend (yeah, that’s a large pericope if ever there was one!) So instead of reading all three chapters, I used sketchnotes to help summarise and get the main story points across (and also function as multilingual slides).

My wife asked me who issued my passport. After reading HMPO I guessed: Her Majesty’s Passport Office. But I checked and my mistake was clear. His Majesty’s Passport Office. I’m not sure when I’ll get used to that.
