Sometimes I just had a downer day (today is one) and it always helps when I acknowledge it and remember it will pass probably by tomorrow morning. This is me reminding myself. Honestly, I’m so grateful that I know this bouts do pass so quickly, I know other people really struggle with ongoing depression and that sucks.

I preached on 1 Kings 20-22 this weekend (yeah, that’s a large pericope if ever there was one!) So instead of reading all three chapters, I used sketchnotes to help summarise and get the main story points across (and also function as multilingual slides).

My wife asked me who issued my passport. After reading HMPO I guessed: Her Majesty’s Passport Office. But I checked and my mistake was clear. His Majesty’s Passport Office. I’m not sure when I’ll get used to that.

The Wieliczka mine big band back for their summer concerts. So much fun taking the kids along. It’s amazing the power of live music.

I pity any parent who’s kids have growing pains and they don’t know what growing pains are. I’m so glad I remembered my own from childhood and could help my daughter and (starting this evening it seems) my son.

I wonder how I’d write (blogs) if I’d never learned anything about SEO? I think what I put on micro blog comes close but I’m sure there’s some subconscious influence stil.

Funny discovery: The F1 TV site doesn’t give you the full rave replay in the UK but it does in Poland. I’m guessing it’s some regional rights issue. Now I can finally watch the full British Grand Prix (Unfortunately, I already know who won but I don’t know any of the rest of it!)
